Dear fans...

I’ve had countless fan letters asking about me and where I started off, how I got into music and that sort of thing. Seems like y’all want to know about me, but I can’t really reply to all of the letters because there are just far too many of you (not that I’m complaining). So I’ve decided to answer the questions I’ve gotten a lot, and hopefully that will answer most of your questions.

Where and when were you born?

I was born in Harare in Zimbabwe. For those of you who don’t know, Zimbabwe is in the South of Africa, funnily enough, next to South Africa. I spent the first 4 years of my life living with my mum and dad there, then we moved to Miami.

Do your family support from your family in your career in music?

As a child, I went to church every Sunday, so I ended up as a member of the choir from the age of 11. My parents not only supported this, but encouraged me. It was there when I realised that I want to go into a career in music. I made plans on what I wanted to do from then, went around and spoke to people and when I had a plan, I then decided to tell my parents. Like any parent, mine were concerned about my chances of succeeding and discouraged it, but when I insisted they were supportive and helped me out in everything I need.

Which celebrities are you a fan of?

Jennifer Lawrence. She is hands down the prettiest celebrity in my opinion, although that might just be because I’m a big fan of Katniss Everdeen. I’m also a fan of Tinashe, her music is absolutely amazing, and for those of you who like to get some behind the scenes info, there might maybe, just maybe, be an upcoming collaboration between me and her!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I honestly love to be in the sun, and I’m quite sporty, so I tend to go have a game of volleyball with the boys when I’m not too busy. But I play any sport, sometimes we play football, and occasionally rugby, because I can take out half of the lads (don’t tell them I told you that though). In the evening I love to hit a good club, I go out most Fridays when I am not recording, and sometimes I get the club going up on a Tuesday (see what I did there?). That’s pretty much it really, if you really want to see what I get up to, I am getting Snapchat soon, so I’ll be putting that on my twitter for those of you who follow me.

Do you have a boyfriend?

No, sadly I do not :(. But I’m not the type to only date celebrities, so I’m sure that when the right guy comes along, we will get along just fine, I’m willing to wait if it means I don’t get my heart broken, because I know the right guy is worth the wait!

Do you have any regrets?

I have one regret, but it is one of those childish kind of regrets. Back when I was in high school, there was this boy, we were very good friends, and then he declared his love for me, but I turned him down and told him I didn’t want to risk our friendship. But then he moved on, found another girl and we slowly grew apart. I know, it’s so childish, but that’s honestly the only regret I really have in my life.

As a growing star in your area, do you feel like you can cope with the fame that comes with making it big?

Well I don’t quite consider myself as “making it big” yet, but I really hope I do. Since I am hoping, I have looked into how people act when they become celebrities, and I’ve decided that the only way I am going to avoid that is by keeping my friends and family close, so I think I will be okay, but I’ll face it when the time comes

Will you marry me?

Aww, I’m flattered, but I don’t accept twitter proposals, sorry ;)

That’s it for this one guys! Make sure to come back, I’ll make sure to put up more posts as soon as I can.

Peace and Love,

Naomi :)
